Could anyone help me!!!

I am making enquiries for a friend. Does anyone have any idea on how to get into Canada other than having residency.
Our friends are desperate to get in but have not enough points and have no family.
They are a forces background.

All help welcome

Hi,

I don't know what you mean by 'having residency'? They don't have to go down the Skilled Worker route, there are plenty of other options.

Sounds as though their best bet is either to get a job offer and go via a TWP (and then upgrade it to PR), or the Nova Scotia CIS if NS is somewhere they'd be interested in?

Just have a read of the Wiki (on blue bar at top of page) which will give you details on all of the various routes available, or do a search of the forums for info on a specific visa. This page would be the best place to start................http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Quick_...an_Immigration Perhaps print it out for them to read?
