We make more use of the Boni-dollars offered by our visa issuer (Caisse Populaire Desjardins). They rack up in the same way as Air Miles but have an actual cash value. If we buy something, such as a train ticket, using visa, we simply tell Desjardins to use the Boni-dollars and stick the balance on our next bill.
I get very regular approaches from Amex, MBNA and others offering me credit. Given that I don't have a credit rating in this country, I find that amusing.







But if it was for something that was of a benefit to ME, I don't think they'd go to too much effort to link up my collection programmes
