I recieved my AIP August 5th 2005. I got the ok for a temp work permit which was a big relief after the amount of time i was off work.
To continue my application immigration requested 3 sets of finger prints from places i have lived. I sent the prints off last september and it was not untill november 21st that my e-client status changed to say that they recieved a letter from myself.
I am now a bit anxoius as to why i have not heard anything back... can't help but think they are waiting for something else. The AIP letter did say "all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, must pass medical and background checks even if they are not applying to join me in Canada". Not sure if this is applicable to me as I applied as common-in-law with my Canadian fiance sponsoring me which has already been approved.
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
