age restrictions-please help

I am 49 and am applying for a Canadian visa under the skilled worker application.My husband is now 55.If my application is turned in before I am 5o but not finished being processed will I lose the Points?

I think you can do it that way, but I'm not 100% sure so you might want to run it past the experts in Immigration to check. My concern is without a good history it may be rejected at the first hurdle when they briefly check everything is there and issue the "OAR" reciept.

Complete package or there is a good chance you'll get it returned 3/4 months done the road.

If they wait to see if they can get more documention than they have now for that period, they could well lose points for age, and may well end up submitting the same employment history anyway as they have now???
