Apparently, they have been holding Brits for up to 6 hours on transit to Canada.

I was going to book for February via Newark, but I will now go via St John.

What do people think of the Air Canada planes?

I have now decided to fly Air Canada!

Air Canada is the best airline I have ever flown with -- I use the word "flown" with some significance, I mean specifically once the plane is in the air. On the ground Air Canada is about as awful as it gets.

Yea I have to go through that every time I go and its really annoying, I have a return ticket, enough money to stay and money in the bank, a job to go back to in the UK (althought this time it will be University to go to in Canada) yet the still quiz me every time and hold me up in the immigration office and dont care that I might have a connecting flight, but I figure its better than just lieing.

I flew with Air Canada in September and I thought it was a great flight with good service but it was expensive compared to Zoom for example.
