The humidity isn't so bad but the pollution is a bother. The air has a powdery quality and the sky is brown.

I am confused now, if Toronto has bad pollution and is very hot in summer, how is that nicer than no pollution and nicely warm
I think I'll stick with Edmonton thank you!!! each to their own I guess

The relative warmth of Toronto is in the winter, it doesn't get as cold here as it does in Edmonton.

I agree with your opinion that the money would better used on other essentials, but some prefer the feeling of having the rebate in their own pockets, and some just like the feeling of putting one over someone else.

Anyway ..... if Cochrane is where it's at, I was wondering why you are in Bragg Creek?

If it makes you feel better, being here on September 1st in and of itself would not have been enough. You also would have had to have submitted a 2004 tax return. As I said, if that's any consolation .......

Unca Ralphie hasn't ruled that out.

However if the government has any sense this'll be a one time thing and they will in future spend it where it is needed i.e. education, infrastucture, health care or Social Services.
Which is where this $400 per person should have gone.

Cheers
Steve

Err, ......I do actually agree with that....

Incidentally I do love your penguin clip. It makes me laugh every time I see it. I mean every time the penguin slaps the other one into the ice. I think one of my relatives may have been a goldfish

I had no idea it was animated - all I've ever seen is a static image. Wilmore or Tangram, do you see moving penguins? Just tried to load it as a standalone image and still nowt I see other people's animated stuff...why not that one I wonder?

It could be because in actuality it is an animated gif, but in order to link to it I had to rename it as a jpg file. Perhaps if you saved to your computer and then changed the extension from jpg to gif it might be animated.

Does that make any sense at all to you?

Cheers
