Default Accountants - salary by Province and City

A little bit out of date (2007), but this might be of interest to any qualified accountants who are looking to move to Canada.

As is usual when moving overseas, most accountants from the UK will probably have to take a more junior position than they had at home (Manager to Consultant, Senior Manager to Manager etc), but this might give you a broad idea of what to expect.

The Summary Report if you want a summary for all regions.

The Regional Report if you want more detail on a particular region.

Each has lots of information about the type of work done and number of accountants in each Province, but for most people I think the salaries will be the most interesting.

It appears that if I was an accountant I could afford an accountant. But of course I wouldn't need one.

I'm sure there's a very deep lesson there somewhere.

Yes. Find a dodgy accountant. Mine only sees me outside of normal business hours and prefers cash.
