I've just got my dates through for testing and we're off to Calgary next month - v.excited!
Would be grateful if anyone has any suggestions as to the best place to stay? I'm considering being as close to the testing stations as possible to make life easier for arriving at each appointment.

I'm considering being as close to the testing stations as possible to make life easier for arriving at each appointment.I know several families who are cheaper than the hotels and they rent out their basements/rooms for a small fee. The advantage is that you get to spend some time with other expats who have done the move and if you are coming alone you have someone to spend some time with.
Pm me for their details.
