For those of you who live in Newfoundland, you may be interested to know that Air Canada are restarting their scheduled service from St Johns to Heathrow starting next summer.

Apparently it will run from May til September, but if there is sufficient interest it will be extended to a year round service.

or until AC have seen off the weekly 'gotravel' charter flight to LGW that also starts in the summer. At which point, mysteriously and coincidentally, AC will find that traffic volumes no longer sustain the route.......

One can but hope. From a business perspective, it would be good to have some direct cargo lift capacity back across the pond. Have you checked out the flight prices though? We plan to head back in August and its $1500 per person!
