Re: 33 Single Male No Kids Mech Eng from Belfast. Should i go to canada
I have no issue with the cold to be honest. In fact the appeal of Canada would be the fact that there are 4 seasons over there. we only seem to have 2 seasons over here, winter and July!!!
I have a Masters Degree in Mech Engineering so im assuming that it travels worldwide. Understand how the Corgi qualification wouldnt apply. I will suss out this Wiki site over the weekend and try and do as much background reading as possible without asking stupid quetsions on here.
Piece of string question but if i ahve a job lined up how long does it take to actually get in?
Obviously i have read horror stories about candians not hiring immigrants and various other things.
Canadian women? Are the good looking? Are they tolerant of hard drinking slitty eyed Belfast men?
Sean
P.S. Birds from belfast are great. They just dont like me!!

So I guess Mikey you can tell at a glance if a woman is Canadian? Now I'm wondering now that I've got my Canadian citizenship have I suddenly got better looking?

Hi there,
Apologies if the above reads like an ad for a lonely hearts column. Basically im taking stock and im quite bored with where i am now. Was thinking about moving to Canada and want to know should i.
More Info - I have a house with 100 k equity. Im into mountain biking. Im a Mech Engineer and also a qualified Corgi Engineer. I cant find a bird in Belfast and will drink myself to an early grave if i stay there.
So where do i start and what should i do. Apologies if this question has been asked 5 times today already.
Thanks in advance
Sean
P.S. Yes this has been spurred on by seeing that articel in the Daily Mail

I understand exactly how you feel, 3 years ago I done the same. If you're 35 and under you still qualify for BUNAC's 1 year visa.

I went to Vancouver, met my current boyfriend there. As for the girls, my boyfriend (who's from Vancouver) and the guys I used to work with all said that the girls in vancouver are pretentious.....I have a tendency to agree. I guess thats why my fella has stuck it out with a good honest english gal :-)

I thought we had an unspoken agreement here.....you come back to Co. Antrim.....I take your place in Toronto! It's a fair swap.
You can't just go pimping out your Canadian place to all and sundry! Damnit, right I'm off the Aldergrove to call off the deal
