2p per min calls to Canada

You lot may already know this but you can call Canada for 2p (used to be 1p) per minute using www.telesavers.co.uk
We have been using them for the last year (or other companys - look at www.moneysavingexpert.com for up to date info on other campanys) and it has really cut our telephone costs down (telewest cost ca 17p per minute).
Sorry if I am preaching to the converted

That goes to show how much you're being screwed by the phone companies in the UK. With Bell Canada, a conventional supplier, I pay 14 cents (6p?) per minute to call the UK. Local calls are free. They get their money back on the in-Canada long distance, though.

if you have adsl you can use Skype to call another computer for free. Apparently the quality is great and you can call a number of european and american landlines for 2cents (euro cents). Not tried it myself yet but have heard from friends that it works really well! About to give it a try so I'll let you know.......

we use calling cards
vox plus from within canada
but here i am currently using EUROVOICE
you call a freephone connection no. thats on the card then you enter your pin no . from the card ,
on this i am getting over 6 hours talk time ............... and the cost of the card is £3.50 thats great eh
considering now we are back in uk , i am going through 1 a fortnight
you can also use the connection charge no . (which works out at about 50p for a 90 min call and get 16 hours of talk time on the same card

Does anyone not tell certain relatives about the cheap rate in order to prevent them from calling too often or talking at length? Or is it just me? Everytime I see a better deal, part of me cringes!
