My husband and I will be doing a 2 week holiday in Vancouver and Calgary to help us decide where we want to settle.
We'll be in Vancouver from the 19/09/10 to the 24/09/10.
-Vancouver island the 24/09/10 to the 27/09/10.
-Banff 27/09/10 to the 29/09/10.
-Calgary 29/09/10 to the 02/10/10.

My husband and I would love to have a casual meeting (a drink or two...) with any expats in those areas during our visits to get first hand views on how things have worked out for them there. From what I've heard from this site, Moorish European chocolate is quite a luxury.Anybody tempted ?

There's a Calgary "British Expats" club. If you go to meetup.com and search Calgary British Expat is should come up. Perhaps emailing them would get you a result for a meeting?
