Yes I know you were referring to St Thomas further up the thread. I was responding purely to your recommendation of Oakville which followed from a post (by someone else) saying that $500k would be good if they bought a place in the GTA with GO train access. I bet there is a Timmies though?

I'd rather have a Williams than Starbucks any day. Actually I'd rather have an empty field than a Starbucks to be honest.

Have to say that the coffee is not why I would be going to Tim Hortons !
Good for a stopover lunch/snack on the road with the family on a budget.
The kid in me likes the Timbits
No offence meant, as I know the chain has a big place in the hearts of many Canadians,like Dunkin Donuts in the U.S.
