Blokker is closed; where to buy oven cleaner?
#1
Back in NL after an absence, and I need to clean an oven in my rental property (that isn't the only reason I'm here, but it's one of them).
Down to the Albert Hein today, and they don't have any (or much else in the cleaning realm).
WIth Blokker dead, where do you buy this sort of thing now?

Thanks;
I almost went to a Praxis, I'm in the inner city and I know there's a little one around here somewhere but I couldn't remember the spot while I was out.
I went to Kruidvat, Jumbo, and Hema without success.
I found an open Blokker, selling out remaining stock. It looked like Assad's palace in there, full of looters.
Mostly kitchen gizmos at 20% off; probably as cheap as the internet.
They had 1 oven cleaner left.

I don't like to order little things online that I can carry in my backpack; I end up hanging around waiting for the delivery.
But maybe this is where the world is going; order on a computer, pay on a computer, soon the deliveries will be some sort of robot too I suppose.

Amazing; 21st century and there is still no product (I know of) that will really clean an oven!
It's better than before (after 3 cleanings), but my tenant did some evil there that could not be completely remedied.

Yes, it makes you wonder what it going into your body, if that's what it does to an oven, right?
The Pink Stuff. I have managed to get hold of it here, but I can't for the life of me remember where it was because I don't really go to expat shops. Not sure if I can post a link to Youtube but I'll try. The Pink Stuff (oven cleaning demo)

I watched the video; to me, it didn't look like it worked better than the HG gel I used.
Because some carbon was still left on the door; and that's the tough stuff.
In my case, I got almost everything off except baked in carbon on the drip tray.
Which is what usually happens.
