Default Your favourite British products - what do you wish you'd brought with you??

We're moving across to Sydney next year and I'm mentally starting to pack in my head on what to take and what to leave....

Are there any items that you wished you had bought over but didn't? I love Emma Bridgewater, The White Company, Cath Kidston etc but not sure if I can get all that stuff in Oz. I'd love to know what everyone would pack and take over if they could go back in time.

Thanks!

PS - M&S underwear????

BOLD LIQUITABS!!! The washing liquid here just isn't strong enough in fragrance and I am still sniffing my unworn stuff washed back in the UK in Dec/Jan and going 'Ahhhhhh lovely jovely!' It still smells as strong as the day it was washed, the stuff here, IS RUBBISH LOL (PS I'm not being a whinging pom, just saying lol)

I truly don't get the "I miss M & S undies" thing! Honestly, besides the fact that they deliver to Oz, there's loads and loads of places that sell perfectly lovely undies here.

Nearly 3 years in and the only thing I regularly miss are Shreddies. I never thought I'd ever get used to Aussie Weetbix, but they've grown on me though.

For me its mostly Bisto/Oxo Gravy Granules. But I don't miss them enough to pay almost $10 a jar at the places I've seen them!

Otherwise, Walkers Smokey Bacon or Pickled Onion Crisps.

At a pinch, Smiths Thinly Cut Sweet Thai Chilli will do.

My mother did send me an Aid Package containing the above. Customs were very interested in the Gravy Granules but let me have them in the end.

Best mate Nothing else bothers me at all. Found perfectly good substitutes for everything, not that I have ever got worked up about 'stuff'. I honestly don't see the point of stocking up on stuff to bring over. I guess it's nice to start off with but if you can't get something here, at some point you'll run out and have to find the equivalent here, may as well start that at the beginning. Must be just me though because stacks of people seem to wonder about what to bring over.

I try to adopt your principles too but when we come back from our next trip I'm bring a pile of stuff back for friends. We're hosting a Christmas in July party this year so we're going to wrap up Bisto etc for those who are missing it all.
