Class and style being M&S, Next and pandering to advertisement and media impressions of how you should dress of course...

I think I may embrace Aus and throw all of my shoes away and use a slang term for just about every aspect of the English language.
I am here in Aus and staying as I have no interest in returning to the UK, this does not mean I am legally obliged to find all the annoying things "real" and quaint..

I agree with Borehamwood... I'd like to take issue with the class and style, The S's.
Just because it's classless (") and styleless where you live, it isn't here.
Everyone in the mts wears hats in Winter, and I just purchased my 4th the other day.
Even the British don't wear hats any more. If wearing a hat is not the epitome of style and class, then I want to know what is.
