I'm a full time dad (aka jobless pommie loser). Getting paid at all would be nice!

I can't complain. Zero income but the job satisfaction is immense. Plus when you're the only dad at the mums groups, the view ain't too bad sometimes either ;)

*edit* I edited the word 'kiddy' to say 'mums' instead. Did not read at all well as the former...

Husband actually got a pay rise this year which came as a huge surprise to the both of us.

I'm in technology AND finance ... I fking hate my job and doing everything to sabotage what I laughingly call a career so the odds on a pay rise are 50:50.

I seriously suspect I'd be happier selling flange sprockets at Bunnings.

My wife and her colleagues did OK..... It still hasn't been implemented yet for the Mental Health Nurses and they are being back paid from October 2016.... It's just about to be signed off for them

And I work in IT.

Didn't get one last year. Or the year before.

And I'm one of the top performers.

But our CEO got a $14million bonus so that's OK then.

Yes

Starting a new contract next week at a higher rate - the highest its been in 3 years. Things definitely on the up here - and about time as its been dire for too long

Also looking at freelance work in the UK for later on this year - engineering is going off over there
