Default Yo Yo Feeling?

Have you guys ever been through they whole Move to Place B because you've had enough of Place A. Spend a reasonable length of time in B, return for holiday in A and have reservations about decision to leave A?

In my instance, we left Sydney almost a year ago to start a new life in Brisbane. We just couldn't afford a house in Sydney and weren't prepared to live too far out as have spent a lot of my life doing long commutes. We've since bought an old Queenslander in Brisbane for less than what we paid in Sydney for our apartment and love having the space.

In all honesty, we see pros and cons in both places. Thinking more about it, both cities are great places to live. But I do miss some of my friends down there, and the harbour is magnificent (I love water sports).

If only we could have all our friends in one place, and the pros could be consolidated...

Anyway, just wondering if others have had the same experience and how you dealt with it.
