Is it just me and my accent or are the kids in these fast food places just dumb as F**k

Its getting to the stage where its not even remotely funny now.

You ask for chicken breast, you get chicken wing (oh and while we're at it, whats with buying chicken wings to eat! Since when was there anything edible on a chickens wing)

I ask for a chicken sandwich meal, i get nuggets, i ask for nuggets i get cheeseburger.

I'm gunna have to start cooking my own food at this rate!!!!!!

I check my bag before pulling away when getting junk. I honestly get more wrong orders than right, it's all true.

But then pay peanuts and you get monkeys!

Ah - I have particular issues with McDonalds, but only if I go through the drive through

its definitely my north east mongrel accent.

I have problems on the phone too, until I slip into a pseudo Australian NorthEastEngland variation.

Tell me about it, i got so sick of asking for coke i just say pepsi now, even though i know they only have coke, and when the say "we only have coke" i just say aye that'll do

And when I order over the phone I get them to repeat the order back to me but I have a normal English accent so they understand me

It's not your accent...

Whilst we were working on our last job, we had a Macca's about 500m away so the Manager came down and gave us some complimentary coffee vouchers, and a few free breakfast vouchers too. We went at least once a week, always ordered the same thing etc..did that for at least 2 months until the vouchers ran out. By that time we had got used to having Macca's every Monday morning, so we thought we'd just carry on going. For 4 weeks solid they got our order wrong, we got the wrong coffee, or the wrong meal, or they left something out - now mostly this stuff was ordered by our office manager, who is as Aussie as they come.

Every week she wrote an e-mail to the Manager there, and every week he came down to apologise and give us free coffee or burger vouchers...they didn't make much profit out of us

And for the record, my son works at Macca's...I'm so proud!
