Why Not! Unfortunately we can't return all the children who are 'lost' but by changing avatar its a sign of hope and respect for Maddie who at THIS MOMENT is in our hearts and thoughts xx

to be honest, im not sure  but i can tell you that we are having 24/7 coverage here at the moment. there is a £2.5m reward (i hope would be abductors dont see this as temptation though :frown: ). i guess the circumstances were pretty unique and there is also a fair bit of criticism aimed at the parents. put all that together, and you have media frenzy.

as for me, i have 3 daughters around the same age group. cant help but get drawn in

Well, let's wear the yellow ribbon for ALL missing kids. I don't think anyone is meaning that Maddy is more important than any other child. It's just BIG news at the moment:(

Thats a better answer .... The blonde blue eyed kid always go down
well as headlines .... I find it all a bit sick ....The black child from the ghetto would not get a square inch on page 15 ...

I think here the black kid from the council estate would get coverage. I think any kid that was reported "abducted" would get coverage. Well, I would hope so. It obviously isn't the same in the States??:(
