Default Xmas tipple?

What will you be drinking this xmas day?

I usually buy myself a bottle of Peach schnapps or Miduri (yeas I know, but where I'm from, it's way better than Buckfast or 20/20)

I love mulled wine so will start with that, then port after dinner and then round it off with a few baileys or vodka and tonics.

Ah Baileys is another favourite, though I can only drink 1 or 2 as it's too sweet

Champers!
Wine.
Rum later on!

Used to have snowballs as a real Christmas treat as a kid. Not so sure I would consider that a treat now though!

For a nice cocktail in the evening - FBI; vodka, kahula, baileys and vanilla ice cream...mmmm (think there are other variations as well).
But usually have a nice bottle of bubbly with Christmas dinner, been looking for Laurent Perrier Rose for ages now but we can't find it anywhere.

Champagne for breakfast - Moet under $50 at Dan Murphy
Cab Sav or Merlot with lunch, nice chardonnay with the seafood
Gin and tonic in the afternoon as it will probably be hot
A couple of single malts to round the day off

No different from any other day. May have a Voddie and Coke. In the UK I always had Port, Baileys, Drambuie, Cointreau and Malibu in the house but not interested in any of them these days except maybe the odd ice cold Malibu. As I get older, the less I drink. Can no longer touch any wine including Madeira, Port and Champagne and I used to love them. Baileys now makes me heave.

I do think your tastes change. I can't drink any of that sweet crap now and the only spirit I will drink is a nice G&T. I only drink red wine in winter and only drink Sav Blanc as I find Chardonnay too heavy.

Agree, I find cream based drinks (Amarula is the SA version, which tastes great) too heavy, especially if I've had a big meal.
