It was like that here in Perth last Christmas and New Year. 21 degrees NYE last year, it was so windy we had to sit inside as the wind was blowing my wine over

Sydney - don't mind it raining (given water shortages & help keep bush fires at bay), just needs to do it over the catchment area. Was going to take DD to the beach last week for her 2nd birthday (she had snow on her 1st), but was too cold.

Just to show those that have yet to arrive it is not all sun, beach & barbies even in summer

OMG, the weather in Melbourne sounds all over the place At least it's predictable here - cold and colder Haven't seen the Xmas Day forcast but Christmas Eve is going to be 3 degrees and foggy in Falkirk, Scotland

Took the kids to the Edinburgh Winter Wonderland yesterday and it was beautiful but so cold we could hardly feel our feet after just half an hour

I know what you mean Bexie, was walking the girls to nursery the other day and slipping on the frosty pavements but we were all giggling and trying to make a big thing of it so they might remember it when they're a bit bigger. I'm really really hoping we get some snow this winter so we can go out and have a mega snowball fight, build a snowman and go sledging on last time. MY 4yo is desperate to make a snow angel but the other day she said "I'll just have to make a sand angel in Melbourne if it soesn't snow this year Mum" Bless.
