You live in alberta, not nunavut, I know for a fact that there are houses in alberta

It's not cold in an igloo either, not when it's -30 with a windchill of -45 outside the igloo.

To be honest, I didn't move from the UK to the warmth of Australia just to consider whether it was sensible for my child to sleep in an igloo We wouldn't sleep in a tent in summer let alone under ice in winter but whatever rocks your boat

For which we are very grateful I'll have you know, we had ground frost last winter Wouldn't make an igloo out of it but it was piggin cold.
