Would you have plastic surgery?
I have just been putting some cream on my face and noticed when I did a big smile, I spotted wrinkles.
Yes I know I looked a right tit smiling and pulling faces at myself in the mirror but once I started, I couldnt stop and had anyone seen me, they would have sent in men in white coats to take the 'special person'.
'When did they appear?' I thought to myself angrily. How the hell can something appear on your face when you didn't invite it?
So then I started lifting my own face up making myself look like a cross between a startled rabbit, someone with eyes pointing sharply to the North and Michael Jackson with taut skin to see if I would look better with a face lift.
Yes the wrinkles disappeared a bit but the pointing eyes and startled rabbit look was not good.
Bugger, I need plastic surgery. But then, I dont do pain, have better things to spend my money on.
I shall make do with 2 litres of water a day, moisturise my skin twice daily and convince myself that for every line on my face, there is a story to be told.
Probably a thousand bloody stories if the pretend ones on BE are anything to go by.
Men don't seem to worry about ageing. You dont see them in the mirror checking out their wrinkles. Yes they might suck the old tummy in when trying to impress, but they dont seem to worry the way we do.
I mean, yesterday I confessed to having a penchant for fit bald men. Can you imagine if we women went bald and refused to wear a wig?
Would any of you have plastic surgery out of vanity? Go on be honest.
If I was rich then I would have my face lifted higher than a telegraph pole.
Because worryingly, if every line on my face tells a story, then I dont like what Im reading.
Oh yes, I would have a breast reduction, tummy tuck, liposuction.
Second thoughts, that really would hurt.
Answers please, would you have plastic surgery?

Actually, how do you best protect your face once in Oz?
On holiday the other week, I used a factor 50 and still came home with a tan and freckles which I did not want.
I have heard that some POMS have said they have aged 10 years after being in Oz just 2 or 3 years.
I suppose total sun block is the answer.
What do you use to protect your skin?
