After having seen the replays this morning, I have to say that the loser was extremely gracious in defeat.

Already the conspiracy theories abound.... almighty b0ll0x drop? or cynical publicity stunt????
Professional handling of the mistake? Or not distraught enough for it to have not been pre planned????.... YOU DECIDE
Funnily enough when they announced the winner I sat shouting at the tv set... WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG...
and it was...

I was watching this and had to turn over, I just could not watch. It wasnt even and instant change either, the poor girl thought she had one for a few minutes. Unbelievable. They should have just left it as is.

I agree, I thought the contestants handled it really well cos the winner felt a loser and the initial loser didn't feel like a winner.
It was a bloody mess.
Sarah Murdoch blamed someone else and no doubt with her connections someone will take the wrap for her, dozy bint
Just about sums it up ....
"she'll be right" - so no one gets it right

But she still got it wrong.I should have been the winner.

one thing missing from this is a 'ha-ha' in best Nelson's voice (of the Simpsons fame).

Apparently she lost the live feed in her earpiece - and so just went with the last name discussed, neglecting to look at the bit of paper in her hand that actually gave her the correct name. Doh!

Foxtel's director of publicity Jamie Campbell told The Australian Sarah Murdoch had wrongly assumed Kelsey was the winner based on earlier information she was handed on a card
Apparently, from one source, she had the real name on a monitor in front of her, but when the name via the earpiece was different to that on the monitor, she went with the verbal instruction.
But the next day, it seems there was no verbal instruction... so, why didn't she then go with the name on the monitor.
Also when she did say the name, she seemed very confident, with no display of confusion, which would be expected if her earpiece had suddenly gone dead with no name being given out.
And then of course, there was the large poster display behind with the real winners photo and name that came down while the wrong name was said.
There does appear to be much more to this, than meets our eyes.
I think I am joining the conspiritalists on this

And I am not the only one...
HARPER'S Bazaar editor Edwina McCann has accused Foxtel of manipulating the result of last night's Australia's Next Top Model announcement.
