Because it's tradition - we're always getting bagged for having little history and culture. Getting blind every year on cup day is a very historic and cultural experience!!!

The cup. I was told to bring a plate when i got invited to a party for the Melly cup.

It's an Aussie thing isn't it, get invited to a party and bring all your own food and drink. Not at my parties. I supply it all. I find it rude to say bring your own stuff:ohmy: Tight arses.
