I made wonderful friends in France and here also. Been very lucky here on that front as I see a lot of posts on here with folks finding that side difficult.

My wife went to pubby and no one knows she is Scottish, which really annoys her!

Me too. We've (family and close friends) also have done all our time in London, Oxford, Berkshire, and Kent in that order, and for myself, Wiltshire.
