Noooo, you hide it in your trolley, walk around until say, I dunno, half hour before closing and then reappear with the goose when the reduction lady is around .....
O.k, I forgot about mass panic buyers

[QUOTE=Scott;5695879]so this goose is going cheap ??

Yep its cheap, but don't forget goose doesn't go as far as turkey, so need bigger one to compensate!

Tastes very nice, I stuffed mine last year with black pudding and port it was delicious, but not as much meat on the bird as one would imagine, considering they are bigger than turkeys.

We're having turkey crown this year, from a Bronze Turkey Farm down the road.

Went to pick up a turkey today, £25-£40 .... for a frozen one! Bloody rip off. Because we are going out for dinner on the day, we brought a big bit of pork instead as it is just for sarnies.

We are having goose and turkey. There are only 4 of us!! I think my Mum maybe compensating for our last Christmas at home, but then she did do the same last year. Personaly I really like goose, it is a dark meat, a bit more like duck. One day I plan to grow my own up to eat, yum yum.

By the way, I have also noticed that things don't seem to get reduced very much anymore. Where my Mum lives they do, but not around my way. When I used to work at Tesco the only thing I remember getting REALLY reduced were crates of apricots reduced to 10p!!
