I set my alarm to get up and watch this game knowing deep down I was better off sleeping. An absolute pitiful display, it was like watching zombies lurching around. No style, no flair and they didnt even look like they wanted to be there.
Personally I think their poor display is a combination of high expectation, lack of passion and no real ticker. A healthy dose of GENUINE national pride wouldnt go astray either. A bunch of jaded and overpaid chokers. |

I'm not sure I buy into the excuse about too many foreigners in the English game. The Spanish, German, French and Italian leagues have been awash with foreigners for years now and they have all managed to win tournaments or least make the final in the last decade.
The current English squad contains too many media whore type of players who have little passion or pride for the national team. They are epitamised by a poor captain who even did a post match interview wearing the American shirt. Where was his pride and passion for England? I don't remember past England captains doing this piss taking crap. |
