Sam i do know how you are feeling, boxing day will be difficult for me too. But rather than dwell on the loss of my gran on boxing day im going to celebrate her love of life. So on boxing day morning while on holiday at centre parks, we will have a 10 pin bowling game, and put my grans name on the score card and we each take a turn on her behalf. Later on we are going on a ramble with a ranger in the forest.In the evening we will drink to her memory.
Im aware this is my last christmas in the UK, and next we will be in Darwin so i will have to create a whole new type of christmas.

I still talk to my gran daily, when im shopping at the gym or when ever i need her advice. When i feel emotional and need to shed tears i just escape to the bathroom or some where the kids wont see me and i have a good blubber in my bath bubbles.
I shall be thinking of you on boxing day, and when i light my candles i will send some positive vibes your way.

I'd love a Milo PP:DUsed to love the stuff!I always have mixed feelings at Xmas.For some reason I always have!Its no secret I don't have a close family so I guess I envy people who do,and all get together for a trad xmas!I used to feel disappointed at Xmas because it was never what I expected it to be like(I've written about expectations on another thread)Now I just kind of go with the flow and don't really expect it to be anything more than some presents and me chained to the stove!:Danyway PP just accept those feeling for what they are,I don't think you're alone in feeling that way at all!I also hope you and Mr PP have a much nicer year next year xx
