I shall be leaving my Dad a 70th birthday video on my facebook page - Facebook is brilliant for my family to keep in touch and one day when they were having a family BBQ, I recorded a video which they were all able to watch together.
I didnt realise how good facebook would be until I emigrated and now it is priceless for the contact it gives my family.

Australia is wonderful our life is all we expected plus much more, we both have jos we enjoy doing so going to work is not a chore, its so sunny that you can do nice things before and after work no weather worries. My daughters school is fab etc etc.....
we have been here 7 months it has flown by no regrets never want to go back.
where abouts on gold coast are you headed???

If only we could decide 
Looking at Robina, Pacific Pines, Helensvale and maybe others. We are going to get a rental for a few weeks and take a good look around. We can't wait to go. Won't know exactly when until early December. OH has a high court accident claim and it will be settled on Dec 3rd 
So as soon as that is settled we will be booking flights!!!Helena

Very good idea to rent for a few weeks first ... We almost signed for 6 months on Hope Island before flying and almost bought in Pac Pines 4 days after arrival!! Wouldnt choose to live in either now!!
