We are venturing down for the fire and firework displays in the evening.

Yep we're venturing down if we finish all the fencing. Missed it the last two years.

Fantastic fireworks / music show, and the F1-11 is fantastic (not sure if there this year?).

We'll be checking it out, our apartment overlooks the river so we'd have to be pretty stupid to miss it 
Heard it's a pretty big deal over here 'cause you can't just buy fireworks in Oz like you can in the UK, so people get abit crazy when there's fireworks at events? I may be wrong.......stranger things have happened
