Who to fly with?
Hope to book some flights ONE WAY (woo hoo) to Adelaide but not sure who's the best and worst to fly with:confused:
Any idea's? |
Re: Who to fly with?
Best in the business is Singapore Air (SQ). Daily flights from SIN.
Or alternatively, if funds aretight, get a jetstar/tiger/air asia flight into MEL/PER from either SIN or KUL. Then a short flight across to ADL... |
Re: Who to fly with?
Quantas and BA are supposed to be rubbish!!!
We have been twice with Emirates and going again in Sept.....always well priced and good. Singapore airlines I have heard good things about too. Cx |
Re: Who to fly with?
Malaysian re probably best for economy class travel.
I am getting fed up with the poor standard of Singapore.....they seem to be living on past reputation. G |

Re: Who to fly with?
Thanks for the replys:thumbsup:
Been looking and Malaysian seems to be the only good priced avaliable flights. As we hope to go in the next few weeks, worst time in the world to go in the school hols:eek:. having a 5 year old with us we need a good airline that is great for kids (if one exsists). |
Re: Who to fly with?
I'm flying Malaysian on sunday , i'll let you know .
cheapest i could find , i think my seats near the rear gunner ... |
Re: Who to fly with?
Don't underestimate going the other way (via US) as well
I am going air new zealand to melbourne, £442 one way, 46kilo baggage allowance per person. I've not flown them yet but i know they have new planes on that route and by all accounts are excellent. |

sorry to keep on but did you book well in advance? |
Re: Who to fly with?
Have previously flown with singapore and they were great, then flew with Emirates a few weeks ago for our holiday to Brisbane and they were fantastic, can't go wrong with either of them although it was a bonus not having to go via Heathrow with Emirates (we flew from glasgow)

Re: Who to fly with?
If your flying cattle then Malaysian or Air NZ. 34" seat pitch means slightly more leg room. Malaysian most direct and cheaper, Air NZ more luggage but more expensive given sectors.
If you've got to spend that amount of time in the air, like in everything, size matters! ;) |
Re: Who to fly with?
We are going with United - never been with them before - but 4 of us going heathrow to Los Angeles 28th July then Los Angeles to Sydney for £2500 plus we 8 cases at 23 kilos!!!!!! 4 bits of hand luggage, a lap top, pram and a car seat:D
