The other thing to consider is how stressful health visiting is in this country at the moment. There are a lot of staff who are coming up to retirement, nationwide there is a major shortfall of suitably qualified community staff forecast in the next few years, it is already starting to have an effect in District Nursing. There are massive child protection issues, & these things only get worse, not better!
All the constant re-organisation is awful & the current purchaser/provider set up is horrendous.
Think she needs a reality check asap!
