[QUOTE=Fly Away;6574469]OH bum. Just how many blows can you take??? Try the Scarborough BS for BTL- they seem quite good and quite stable at the mo. Even Northern Rock!!! Fingers crossed you can get a deal and release some equity.
Fingers crossed for the new agent. I hope they can work the magic. Don't forget I got our sale by sheer bloody determination and networking - pull in all your favours and speak to everyone you know.
Beth's off to validate soon - I'm sure she'll be on to tell you all about it.
Thanks Nic will try Scarborough......defo not Northern Rock as thats who our current mortgage is with!!! Now signed with new agent who my OH delightfully said he was a stuck up w**nker!!!! Not too his face though Does seem a bit that way, but slightly more professional than the last one. He did ring back later yesterday evening and asked if we had dropped the price with current EA (as he was going to list it for £10k more). I said yes we had unaware that it would make any difference to him, where I was told that he would have to market it at the same price its being listed for now?
Now I'm not being greedy here, this new EA is in a different town completely and doesn't advertise around our neck of the woods. I thought as its a new property on their books you never know and we would drop after 2 weeks anyway! I assumed it was the vendor who instructed the EA at which price to list at anyway? Jeez I wish the banks would ease up on their lending criteria and get things moving again:curse:

Hi guys,
Does anyone know how long it's taking surveyors to get round at the moment? Our buyer (no chain) has said that they paid for their survey last Friday but we still haven't had a phone call to book one in
I'm starting to really panic, should it take a week to make a phone call? Or are we being led along the garden path
I thought getting the sponsor and then the visa was hard enough but having got through that I don't think I panicked as much as I am now.
To top it all, now we have visa the employer has emailed today with a starting date suggestion of 18th August
Would appreciate some advice on peoples timelines from selling to getting survey done PLEASE
To all of you who are still trying to sell, I wish you all luck and sorry if I'm sounding a moaning old bag
