Oh Dawn, why couldn't they buyer be honest with you in the first place.:curse: It's so annoying when this happens.
Bloomin' EAs. It's a shame that they don't research properties that are on the market for less. There's normally a valid reason why they're cheaper.:curse:

It's actually illegal for a property to be displaying more than one EA board.
You can certainly ask to change to joint agency with your estate agent. There may be a fee change. I changed to joint agency and managed to keep the same rate but not all EAs will do the same.
I have a viewing tomorrow. Yippee! Apparently the people are very keen to look at ours but for all I know that's just EA crap.
Loads of cleaning and tidying to do before then though.

PMSL. Can't remember the last time I did that. Probably before we had the kids.
ARGH. Just had a phone call from my EA. The people that came to look at ours a couple of weeks ago still haven't made a decision yet.
They looked at a couple of houses in the early part of the week and since then he's been really busy at work.
They hope to make a decision over the weekend so I'll probably hear Monday, Tuesday.
More waiting. I can't stand it.

ARGH. Just had a phone call from my EA. The people that came to look at ours a couple of weeks ago still haven't made a decision yet.

Just wanted to let you know that I just got a text from Beth. They are safely back in UK, in a minibus heading back home to Wales.
