Me - well I wore a tankini and for once wore a high factor sun cream... I didn't burn either but do have slight strap marks!!! I go really dark - horrible black colour... Not a nice tan....

Hi again,

Back now! My little one still wears a sunsuit too - even in the garden in the UK. She is very pale like Lyd. Never had a suntan... I've got a sun top myself for swimming. You can get all sizes out there.

My cousins in Sydney are very pale and don't have tans - so it's possible to stay pale if you try!! Trouble is, if you brown easily, it will be very difficult...

I go dark even in the UK!!! I only need to look at the sun and I tan!!!

I don't burn often though and make sure I moisturise my skin well - that's what my Molton Brown dry oil spray was for!!:sneaky:

LOL. You'll have accept being brown! I am envious as I burn easily and have to be very careful. However, once I am brown, I stay that way. I still have strap marks from last April when we were in Oz!

My tan lasts forever too!!

At the moment my legs are really white and glowing like belisha beacons - they need some serious sun!

Forgot to add I am braving wearing shorts today! I figure if people don't like it they don't have to look;)

I have some serious blisters too - so am wearing trainers.....

My feet need toughening up for my summer shoes - I think I will ease them in gently!!!! Poor things - walked for miles in mules yesterday so no wonder I have blisters.

Your posts conjour up a lovely vision....

For some reason, legs are always whiter than the rest of you! Why??? How does this happen? I often have brown feet and milky white legs?? (Even lovelier vision...)

Have you tried crocs? They are quite comfy.

Is it still hot there or has the storm got down that far yet?
