Right folks. Im trying to work out accents so where are you from.

I,m from Clydebank, about 7 miles outside Glasgow but accents the same:thumbup:

Zummerzet born, lived in Shropshire, Dorset, Wilts and finally 20 years in Brighton. My accent is probably more Brighton than anything else as a result.

When I go home though I stay with the family on the edge of Bristol and pick up a Zummerzet accent from all of them very quickly :)

Hahaha! Hubby's from Abbots Langley (nearly Watford) & born inside M25 as he often tells me (although it wasn't built when he was born lol) & to me he has a really common accent  It still bugs me that he pronounces Birmingham as Ber-min-um!

I on the other hand grew up about 15 miles up the road from him in Harpenden & I don't think I have an accent but all his Watford/Abbots mates say I do

Everywhere really. My dad was in the army so I had been to 7 different schools by the time I was 11...

Born in Middlesex, then moved to Liverpool, on to Germany, then to Guildford, up to Hereford, Back to Liverpool, Came back down to Hereford, Then moved to Cheltenham.

If I had to say I was "from" anywhere, I'd probably say Cheltenham because I lived there the longest but I don't have an accent as such because I never stayed anywhere long enough to get one! :)

Pretty much same deal here, although not due to the army. First 11 years in Rochester, Kent, then over to France for 7, then in Northampton for 6, then in Derby for 3, then in London for another 3.
