Used to see them in wet seasons (like this year ) from Deniliquin to Moulamein along the Edward River - thats 3hrs from Melbourne not very remote at all.

Wow, this clip was lovely. I'd really like to see a flock of budgies in the wild...

When you see them flying like in this video clip, you realise how cruel it is to have them shut in little cages all their lives.

I might add seeing a flock of wild budgies (and a herd of brumbies) to my bucket list.

They will probably shit on me.

I'm pretty sure I've seen budgies in the outback. I've certainly seen plenty of feral tits on the East Coast if that helps?
