what makes me laugh is that in the short time that I have been here ( 9 days) I cannot beleive how many souped up, top of the range, muscle cars are on the road, and NOBODY speeds. Obviosly it happens, but if the speed limit is 100, maybe you get pased by a car doing 107, but thats rare. Everybody seems in no major hurry. I love it personally, and i'm an idiot normally on the roads, but here if you pull away from the lights at what I find a normal speed, you leave everybody behind, and i'm driving a 1.3 toyota corolla.

You can't have been on the Western Ring Road :scared: we are forever getting people pulling alongside looking for a race when we are in the MR2. We had 1 crazy P Plater pull away from the lights and drive at high speed around a corner on 2 wheels :scared: Williamstown used to attract all the hoons too, but bollards have been installed to prevent high speed driving

I know it must happen, but i'm so used to Holland. I read on internet yesterday, an old lady of 79 was stopped after driving 180km per hour, overtaking on the inside (illegal of course !) and refusing to stop for a police car. They chased her for over 15km !! :scared:

hahahahaha oh my god, I wonder what her excuse was I wish they made overtaking on the inside here illegal, it can be scary sometimes when you have a truck overtaking in each side

In the paper last week it mentioned a Porsche driver who had been clocked on a speed camera doing 250km/h (roughly) on the Westgate freeway. I wouldn't lke to receive that fine

trust me it's fantastic.

I have used them on a number of occasions, and if the germans see a sign which says 100km max, everybody slows down, passes the obstacle, and with 500m they are driving 200km again.

It's a weird feeling driving full belt at 220km p/h and being flashed at by the car behind you because you are in the way.

I know.

I have wanted one for about 12 years, but just too expensive in Holland.

Here they are everywhere !

It has spoiled it for me a little. I used to have a Forester, and they are fantastic motors. Now with the top of the range model, you have luxury, and performance. Another thing that helps is my € goes a long way when looking a cars.

Now just convince the wife
