Well today I was offered a new job starting Monday, they are meant to be nice and the new boss knows my existing one. I would have loved to stay in my existing one but it was only a 6 week contract and they have no budget for longer.
The new job sounds OK, its permenant. For too long I have been hovering in and out of shite temp jobs.
What is the betting now, that I start this new job next week and the visa will come through?

i'll say 9th march , but sams already suggested that (its the day we move into our own house!) , so if no one has 12th march ( the day we give up our keys on our rental!)

I am getting so fed up with the waiting, I am going to now change my date if I may, and say we will get the 'change of circs' form to see what/if has changed this Monday and the visa will be granted Thursday.
There, I bet I will be right.

And nothing we can do about it.
But I have now got myself a new job, permenant and I start Monday, better money, good position and I am going to get on with life in the UK and start living again.
Due to our situation, it doesnt look like the visa will come any time soon.

Unfortunately we could be waiting a considerable while yet. The political situation in hubbys country is now worsening.
And nothing we can do about it.

My agency and I have decided that my life has been on hold and I have missed out on some good opportunities and now it is high time to start living again.
And it wouldnt surprise me in the slightest if the visa rocked up. Then again, it wouldnt surprise me either, if it didnt.
But at least we are getting on with things with a whole new attitude.
