Being patient with "Compulsive" whingers
That is Whinging for the sake of Whinging, not the odd grumple (hmm apple crumble tonight, see how easily I get distracted by food) If we didn't have a little whinge once in a while we would all go mad. |

Australia offers a wonderful quality of life that you just can't get in the UK. |

Here's an interesting little fact. If you had said "Australia" in that post, it would have been the 999th time you had done so.

You're just normal by the looks of things :)
The expat meets can be a bit overwhelming. I attended a poms in oz meetup 2+ years ago and found it mostly good. Still have a few friends to this day that I'm in contact with from that meet. Had a few individual/family meets and only one has clearly proven to be a true friend from start to now. The rest? Well it's hard to tell. To survive, a friendship has to be consistent and a two way one in my book. How many times can you tell your story and discuss the same old same old..I haven't been to one in 9 years and went to one. But you shouldn't turn down an invite from someone local; unless you have good reason to. |

The life of a migrant is more enjoyable for those who assimilate. |

You know **** all about my life so keep your stupid comments to yourself. I have had a wonderful life and lived in 2 great countries. Love the mob mentality in here
If everybody has the same opinion about you, perhaps you might want to look to yourself, rather than the "mob"? |
