Default What's the plan for Christmas?

So, what ya gonna be up to?

Da Bixes will be at home this year enjoying a traditional turkey lunch and maybe a drink or two. Maybe.

Then on Boxing Day me and the missus will be meeting members of Geordie royalty who are holidaying at one of the Cairns resorts.

Other than that a lazy break is planned for the workers of the family whilst I, of course, will be slaving as usual.

Sounds like a perfect Christmas Bix!!

I will be spending it with random single and lonely people in the village - and I will have a bloody good time - we are all contributing food and drink and I for one plan to have a large glass or two of champers!!

Boxing day I have a friend coming from Melbourne and he is staying over - we will chill and walk and watch movies.

Back to work on the Wednesday and only have the following Monday off - but I am now looking forward to Christmas.

Christmas eve, at a friends party. Xmas Day at Home Traditional dinner... 1st time we've had all four of our children in the house in 5 years. Boxing day, Wifes taking the 16 year old shopping as part of the 16yo's present. Then apparently all 6 of us are going to Gold Class movies to watch the new Fockers movie.... courtesy of present from our 25 YO

Xmas day forecast to be 38 degrees and Boxing day 35.

I'll be watching I don't drink too much and praying there isn't a bushfire on Christmas Day.

Full roast turkey with all the trimmings - including sausage stuffing, can't wait.

Orphans picnic in the morning, Mr PP comes home at 3.30pm, and we have two friends round for lunch.

I wont drink up until then as I am on call for snake catching but we are having full turkey dinner, I love it.

That's so cool. I reckon I'd need a drink before wrangling a venomous snake, and one after too.

I could not do it for a living but its nice occasionally, most callouts the snake has long gone. My dad demanded to know why I do it and I don't know, it just feels right to do it as a hobby but that will be my xmas morning I shouldnt wonder. But it sure is an unusual way to spend xmas

Absolutely sod all as far I'm aware. Don't even know what we're eating as I was out food shopping today and got no inspiration or inclination for anything.

Very much looking forward to have christmas dinner being cooked for me and lazing around the pool while the boys play. Then meeting up with the Bixes on boxing day for a few drinkypoos is a good way to spend our holiday

God knows!
Supposed to be driving to Exmouth but the road in Carnarvon is still shut and the latest reports say it will be for another 6 days!
Oh well.

Working nights gonna be busy ones too, the forecast is pretty dreadful. So I can sleep through Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and might manage to stay totally sober for once The guy on days is a fab cook though and is going to bring food in so I shall actually get to eat something decent!

You'll have a peaceful Boxing Day then, that Bixie is very shy and retiring, hardly says a word in company
