Hehe. I remember chemistry lessons. We sat at the front bench and the teacher used to always stand between the 1st and 2nd bench when describing an experiment so we were behind her. We'd be messing about and then she'd say "right, get started!". We'd all blankly look at each other for a few seconds, then go grab some chemicals and metals and see what happened when we mixed them in a pot and put them over a bunsen burner. Most times they just got hot but we did have a handful of minor explosions.

My chemistry teacher was a strange bloke...his head used to wobble all the time...hence the nickname 'noddy'. If ever he caught someone not listening he'd find the biggest piece of chalk...or failing that a piece of wood and lob it at them. He wasn't aiming beside them either...he was going straight for the head!
