quite a while back before OH and the KIds, my housemates and i were having a barbie. so i went out and got the food and i brought myself a tub of Haggendaz Baileys ice-cream - didnt have much money so it was a special treat for myself.

end of the barbie someone found it! I was really pissed off as i had to share it then! i knew the others were going out in a couple of days time and i wanted that time (and ice cream) to myself.:curse:

i love lemon sorbet , its by far my fave but if i had to pick an ice cream i would say ben and jerrys phish food flavour..yum yum

Have you tried Carte D'or Strawberry and yogurt delice?? They sell it in Asda. It's a cross between icecream and sorbet. AND they're selling it at 2 tubs for £2.00 - usually it's £2.00 a tub.

Asda's own caramel is OK too.

Not into Carte D'or!!! There are 2 icecream flavours I like and I am particular about the brand:

1 is Cherry Garcia and the other is Mr Creamy Turkish Delight (Do you ever have Mr Creamy? They sell it in Tesco as local produce!!!)

You won't beleive it, but I don't like hargen dars (sp) - I find it too sweet. I like bitter flavours in a dessert. LOL. Haven't tried the Mr Creamy. If it is made in the icecream factory on Maes Y Coed Rd, then it is local. LOL. :eek::lol:

There is a lovely ice cream shop in N Ireland called Mauds - they make one called Pooh Bear - it is vanilla ice cream with honeycomb crumbled through it, Yummy! But when we were in Oz in May I tried Baskin Robins - its really nice too!
