Just got back from a slightly confusing meal out. Didn't think I would ever see nouvelle cuisine again, nor did we expect to have our main meal plates taken away and the bill be put on the table without asking about dessert or coffee 
It was very nice but I was hankering slightly for a Malibu and we were all still a bit peckish. Had to go via the bottle shop for the Malibu

Hubby has p***ed off for the day, kids are playing up for a change and I'm doing all the housework despite not being allowed to on docs orders - but no one else has done for 3 weeks !!!! Place is a pig sty.
Am also doing my weekly bills and have realised that, in two weeks, I'll no longer be earning a wage so had better stop spending on my visa card. Problem is three groups of friends have invited me out for meals next week
