What hotel did you stay in in Singapore? ,there are so many to choose from.We are a family of three me the OH and a 14year old girl.Also can anyone recommend any of the excursions for us, we will be staying for 3 nights.

we stayed in Raffles at the Plaza, & it was great, we booked via Trailfinders & got a good deal

The zoo, next door is a night safari, bird world, Sentosa beach area, museums, the botanic gardens are great to run around in and the orchid garden section is very pretty.
Singapore slings at Raffles, The taxis are good value and the MRT trains and buses are excellent value only a few $.
The airport itself is the worlds best, clean, friendly

We also stayed in Raffles the Plaza and it was fabulous and we got a great deal from trailfinders. Can't recommend it highly enough. Previously we have stayed in the Meritus Mandarin in Orchard Road, the location was fabulous however, the rooms were pretty disappointingly ordinary! (something to watch for on the room allocation of singapore airlines).
Recommend shopping, the zoo, boat and clarke quays for evenings and the bus tour. We also went to bird park and sentosa and the cable cars, all great trips.
Have fun Singapore is awesome.

swiss hotel stamford.never had better service any where and down at the reception they is a rep who can arrange any excursion available with a pick up at the door.we done the whole shoot me the missus and 4 yr old. brilliant all trips discounted with hotel stay ,have fun..........

If you are flying with Singapore Air, book the hotel through them as they get great discounts.

You can see Singapore in a few days, Sentosa Island, night safari, Hawkers centers ( outdoor eating markets).Singapore slings at Raffles.

I stayed at the Shangi-la, booked through Singapore Airlines stopover.
It was very, very nice & will definitely stay there again.

Have stayed many times at the Westin (now Stamford I think) and it is one of my favourite hotels anywhere. Clean and quiet. And only a step away from the Funan centre - boy's toys!
