What have you won recently?

Went into the fruit and veg barn this am, handed over $70 and my loyalty shopper card, and get told I am the daily winner.

Quite excited I ask what the prize is and am handed a CUCUMBER:blink:

Worse its a bloody second grade cucumber, not a nice shade of green and slightly limp.

Worse still 13 year old teen is with me sniggering and comments " she'll have fun with that "

I've won 2 X $25 meal vouchers in the goose club raffle last two consecutive weeks. Trouble is the food/service is allegedly so bad, the regulars are planning a boycott of the raffles if we continue with the meal vouchers:eek:
I may wait until the chef is replaced;)

I asked Dell computers to replace a door on my PC, which had come unstuck, but they couldn't so they replaced my entire PC with a brand new $4,000 top of the range Alienware gaming system.....No shit....

God bless Dell...

Re: What have you won recently?

£25 on a premium bond. Actually, that's not entirely true in that I banked the cheque as both the envelope and cheque were addressed to me. However, a couple of days later I went to throw the counterfoil out and realised it was actually my daughter's. She is too young to have it paid to her, so I got it instead. Wondering whether to come clean ...........:sneaky:

$90 on the Saturday Lotto. Actually, the ticket cost me $5, so I reallly only won $85. Still better than a punch in the face though.
