Terrible. Sadly people often don't give any indication of underlying problems and can appear quite normal and seem to be coping with their lives. This just shows that isn't always the case.

What I read about this says that the child died at home of natural causes & looks like the parents were grief stricken. Truly tragic!

Yes I read the child had died at home after a long illness and it seems his parents didn't want to go on without him. Tragic really does sum it up. They must have been heartbroken

You should be thankful. It's being in a condition where they can imagine it that makes it possible for it to happen. It may only be a fleeting moment and still end in tragedy, as we saw with the little girl thrown off a bridge here in Aus.

The human brain. We all have one. Try to keep yours in working condition.

No parent should ever have to bury their child. They must have been so overcome with grief that they couldn't imagine living without their boy. Very sad indeed.

I read this this morning. It's truly a tragic story. They must have been in undescribable grief. RIP poor buggars.

The little boy was sent home to pass away, he was in intensive care and was suffering with meningitis. Very very sad...

Thanks so much all.

I haven't been able to read the story and had incorrectly assumed that it was yet another case of parent/s becoming "unhinged" (sorry don't know correct phrase) and killing themselves and their child/ren. It sort of makes it better to know all of the circumstances and that they were such deeply devoted parents, but what a deeply tragic situation. Who knows how they would survive such a horrendous event. I feel sorry for the remaining relatives and friends; they must be feeling awful too.
