What do you do?

What do you do?
When it's pouring rain all weekend and everyone else in the house is content to sit attached to their computer (and you're not)?

Read, watch movies, play games with my kids (Who can resist Monopoly after all?), cook stuff, drink coffee, go to the movies, go out with my girlfriends.... Endless possibilities really.

this.
Plus when its summer and raining in Australia, I'm more than happy to go outside. The rain's never cold and everything dries really quickly. there's something quite liberating about being drenched by rain too.

Depends if it's 'normal' rain or last weeks rain where people were told to stay at home unless it was urgent. We were going stir crazy Friday.

I love the rain here. It's warm and clean and has the propulsion of a power shower on massage.
Swimming in the rain: is invigorating and it's a marvellous occasion to enter into the open air without nuclear fall out style sun protection.
Jigsaws: I'm a fan of these on a rainy day.
Photography: Mr TE spends ages toying with his camera and tripod to capture lightning strikes and storms.

Not much fun in the pouring rain (standing on the motorway helping people after a car spun off and crashed into a bus full of people, who decided to get off the bus and stand in the motorway despite torrential rain and one lane still being open to fairly fast moving traffic).
Then a foot chase through a very wet and soggy park (yes I caught him!).
Very wet and miserable shifts that weekend!
Sounds much more fun being at home playing Monopoly and drinking wine!
